Any Margarita lovers in the house?
If you know me, then you know that I’m raising both hands very high in the air right now! Which my friends from NYC can attest to given that Margarita Sunday used to be a very real thing. Each week, me, my sister and any number of our friends would meet at our favorite neighborhood joint called Cilantro for $5 frozen Margaritas that were a) delicious b) strong and c) served in pint glasses...
Besides getting a big bang for your buck, what was great about Cilantro is that they had so many different Margarita flavors to choose from. My go-to was strawberry or a mix of strawberry and coconut, but every now and again I’d get wild and try their special Margarita of the Day. That’s where I first had a Blood Orange Margarita, and why I knew I had to try this recipe from Liber & Co. the minute I came across it!
If you like Margaritas, then you're gonna love this one! It's a Margarita with a bit of pizzazz, and one that personally transports me right back to those sunny Sunday afternoons in the Big Apple drinking Margaritas with my friends.
