A few weeks ago I shared a bit about Blue Curaçao and one of the most famous drinks that showcases this beautifully bittersweet orange liqueur: the Blue Hawaii.

However, the Blue Hawaii should not be confused with the Blue Hawaiian, which is this drink pictured right here!

Although similar, the biggest difference between these two popular blue drinks is that the Blue Hawaiian is an adaptation of its more famous sibling that incorporates coconut. It’s essentially a kissing cousin to a Piña Colada, only it’s blue in color, the lime juice gets swapped out for lemon juice, and the Blue Curaçao adds an extra bit of tropical goodness!

The weather is officially starting to change here in Georgia, so this will be the last of my warm weather concoctions for a while. But for those of you who are preparing to usher in the summer season, I highly recommend sipping one of these tipples while sitting on the patio or lounging by the pool and soaking up the sunshine!
