If I had to pick one place in NYC to call my favorite, it would have to be Central Park. Being an uptown girl, I had easy access to the park and have spent more time there than anywhere else in the city. I know it like the back of my hand and I love every square inch of it. Even Harlem Hill and Cat Hill, both of which still make me cuss every time I walk the big loop around the park!
From picnics with friends to romantic strolls with boyfriends, from marathon training to Sunday walks with my sister (which we did every week to make ourselves feel better about our Sunday Funday margaritas and nachos!), from photography outings to lazy afternoons sunbathing on the Great Lawn, I’ve made so many cherished memories in Central Park. To me, it is everything lovely and romantic about NYC rolled into one, and I feel so grateful that such an iconic place was essentially my backyard for so many years.
Have you ever been to Central Park? If so, tell me in the comments below something you loved (or didn’t love!) about it!
