In case you can't tell, I've been on a bit of a holiday kick. And now that Christmas is only a few days away, I'm in full on cocktail planning mode!

Although a Gin Martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives and a Rye Old Fashioned are always part of the holiday lineup at my house, I also like to keep things fresh and interesting. And in looking for inspiration for something really fun and different to make this year, I came across this concoction by @cheerstohappyhour. Not only is it gorgeous and green and super festive, the combination of ingredients sounds really intriguing to me! Irish Whiskey and Gin and lime juice and mint? Heck yeah, let's give it a go!

1 Drink

Ingredients:

1 ¾ oz Irish Whiskey

½ oz London Dry Gin

¾ oz Lime juice

¾ oz Orgeat

2 dashes Mint Bitters

Egg white

Garnish: Rosemary sprig

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and dry shake without ice. Add ice, shake again, and pour into a coupe glass. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
