Turkey Day has come and gone, which means one thing: Christmas season is officially underway! And over here at my house, that is reason to celebrate.

This year we're ushering in the festive season with this refreshing pomegranate Vodka cocktail. It's a perfect Christmas drink for daytime holiday cheer or for evening celebrations, and it also pairs beautifully with time spent with loved ones.

Rosemary Pomegranate Sparkler

Usher in the festive season with this sparkling Vodka pomegranate cocktail that pairs perfectly with any holiday celebration!

Yields:

1 Drink

Ingredients:

1 oz Vodka

1 oz Pomegranate Juice

1 teaspoon Maple Syrup

1 dash Angostura Bitters

1 sprig Rosemary

4 oz Sparkling Wine (I use Cava)

2 teaspoons Pomegranate Arils

Garnish: Sprig of Rosemary

Instructions:

Pour Vodka, pomegranate juice, maple syrup, and bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Smack the sprig of rosemary between your palms to release its oils and add to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. Pour into a glass of your choice filled with ice and top with sparkling wine. Sprinkle in pomegranate arils and garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.
