Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Are you wearing green? Or do I have to come over there and give you a nice, big pinch?

According to folklore, wearing green makes a person invisible to leprechauns, who will pinch anyone they can see. Thus, one reason we wear green on St. Paddy’s is to avoid the pinching wrath of the leprechauns!

Or the wrath of your schoolmates. Am I the only one who has vivid childhood memories of the repercussions that came with forgetting to wear green to school on St. Patrick’s Day?
