It's Saturday. My chores are done. The sun is peeking her pretty little head out. And I'm ready for a cocktail!

And given that a Gin Gimlet is one of my favorite cocktails on the planet, this simple and refreshing Gimlet-like tipple from @servedbysoberon is just what the weekend ordered!

COCKTAIL: Bin & Gitters

2 oz Gin

1 oz Fresh Lime Juice

3/4 oz Simple Syrup

Several dashes of Angostura Bitters

Garnish: Lime wedge and sprig of fresh mint (optional)

Add all ingredients except the bitters to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until cold and strain into a glass filled with ice. Top drink with more ice and float bitters on top. Garnish with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint.
