COCKTAIL RECIPE: FOOLS GOLD

Bring on the island vibes with this coconut-y, pineapple-y, Vodka-based concoction.

Is it bad that it's only Monday and I'm already thinking about weekend cocktails?


And since I'm all about the island vibes these days, this gorgeous concoction from @_voodoococktails_ is calling my name! Pineapple, coconut, lime....yes, please.


COCKTAIL: Fools Gold


INGREDIENTS:

25 ml (3/4 oz) Vodka

25 ml (3/4 oz) Aperol

45 ml (1 1/2 oz) Pineapple Juice

20 ml (3/4 oz) Lime Juice

30 ml (1 oz) Coconut Cream

Garnish: Pineapple frond and dehydrated pineapple


DIRECTIONS:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with a pineapple frond & dehydrated pineapple.


MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL: For a booze-free version of this drink, leave out the Vodka and Aperol and double the pineapple juice. You could also get crazy and add whatever juice to the mix that you like! I think a little orange, mango, or guava juice would go really well with these flavors.
