Add some pizzazz to a classic Paloma with this rosemary twist!
Recipe & Photo by @socialgingirl
Y'all, how gorgeous is this cocktail?!
I've been a syrup-making queen these days thanks to my new herb garden, and have been on the hunt for different ways to use herb syrups in cocktails. When I came across this mouthwatering Paloma with a subtle twist by @socialgingirl, I immediately added it to my recipe repertoire. Grapefruit and rosemary are flavors I love together, so I can't wait to quench my thirst with this refreshing concoction on a hot summer day!
One note: Since homemade Blood Orange Liqueur isn't something most of us have on hand, swap it out for Cointreau!
COCKTAIL: Grapefruit, Blood Orange and Rosemary Paloma
45 ml (1 1/2 oz) Blanco Tequila
15 ml (1/5 oz) Homemade Blood Orange Liqueur
30 ml (1 oz) Pink Grapefruit Juice
15 ml (1/2 oz) Lime Juice
7.5 ml (1/4 oz) Rosemary Syrup
Garnish: Grapefruit slices and a sprig of fresh rosemary
Combine all ingredients except for the club soda in the bottom of a glass of your choice and give a quick stir. Fill the glass with ice, top with club soda, and gently stir again. Garnish with a few grapefruit slices and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
MAKE IT A MOCKTAIL: For an equally delicious, booze-free version of this drink, simply leave out the Tequila and Orange Liqueur, double the juices, and top with more club soda!
