It's Cocktail Saturday! Ok, so maybe that's not a real thing. But it's a real thing at my house!
It's a grey day here on St. Simons Island, so I'm brightening things up with this lemony deliciousness by Carolyn! And I've managed to keep my newly planted herb garden alive so far, so I can't wait to add a homegrown touch to this concoction.
COCKTAIL: Lemon Rosemary Sour
2 oz Gin
1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
1 oz Egg White
1/2 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup
4 Fresh Rosemary Leaves
Garnish: Lemon twist and a sprig of rosemary
Lightly muddle the rosemary leaves in your cocktail mixer to release the oils and then add the remaining ingredients. Dry shake vigorously, then add ice and wet shake until well chilled. Fine strain into your glass and garnish with a lemon twist and rosemary sprig.
