Who says you can't drink Tequila on Thanksgiving? This Margarita-inspired tipple makes a great daytime sipper as you prepare for the day's main event.
1 oz Tequila Blanco*
¼ oz Fresh Lime Juice
¼ oz Maple Syrup
1 ¼ oz Apple Cider
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
1 oz Ginger Beer
Garnish: Apple Slice and a Cinnamon Stick
Combine all ingredients except for the Ginger Beer in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice and top with Ginger Beer. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and an apple slice.
*Feel free to add more Tequila, but as mentioned, my goal was to create a cocktail lower in alcohol since Thanksgiving is a very looooong day! These ratios are based on 1 oz of booze, though, so keep that in mind if you add more.
