The Best Pineapple Margarita Recipe on the Rocks

Ingredients:

2 oz Tequila

¼ oz Orange Liqueur

2 oz Pineapple Juice

½ oz Lime Juice

¼ oz Simple Syrup (optional)

3 Pineapple chunks

Garnish: Fresh pineapple slice

Instructions:

  1. If opting for a salted rim, run a lime wedge along the rim of your Margarita glass or cocktail glass and dip it into a rimming dish or a plate of salt. Fill the glass with ice cubes and let it chill while you prepare your cocktail.
  2. In the bottom of a cocktail shaker, muddle the pineapple chunks to release its juices.
  3. Add Tequila, Orange Liqueur, pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker with the muddled pineapple.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  5. Carefully strain the cocktail over the ice cubes in the prepared glass. Garnish with a slice of pineapple and/or a lime wedge.
