Rye Whiskey meets espresso in this delicious coffee cocktail that is sure to have you licking the glass and then asking for another!
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Espresso (cold)
½ oz Brown Sugar Syrup
2 dashes Chocolate Bitters
¾ oz Heavy Cream
FOR THE COCKTAIL:
Combine Rye, brown sugar syrup, and espresso in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until cold and strain into a cordial glass. Combine bitters and cream in a tin without ice and give a good, hard dry shake to whip it. Float the cream on top.
FOR THE BROWN SUGAR SYRUP:
Combine 2 parts dark brown sugar to one part water in small saucepan. Heat on the stove over low heat until sugar has completely dissolved.
