The Saturn

Add some cheer to a grey winter day with this recipe for a Saturn cocktail and learn a bit of the history behind this classic drink.

Yields:

1 Drink

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Gin

½ oz Lemon Juice

½ oz Passion Fruit Syrup

¼ oz Orgeat

¼ oz Velvet Falernum

Garnish: Lemon Twist and a Cocktail Cherry

Instructions:

FOR FLASH BLENDING:

Combine all ingredients in a blender with 8 ounces of crushed ice. Flash blend and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a twist and a cherry.

FOR SERVING UP OR ON THE ROCKS:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake until super cold. Strain into a coupe glass or a glass filled with ice and garnish.
