Description

Learn how to make a Cranberry Gin and Tonic, the perfect holiday cocktail! This easy recipe is bright, refreshing, and full of seasonal flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 2 oz Cranberry Juice OR 1 heaping teaspoon Cranberry Sauce
  • 2-3 oz Tonic Water
  • GARNISH: Sprig of rosemary and a couple of fresh cranberries

Instructions

  1. Add the Gin and cranberry juice or cranberry sauce to the bottom of a cocktail glass and stir together until mixed well.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Slowly pour in the tonic water and then use a long-handled bar spoon to stir gently to combine.
  4. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary and a few fresh cranberries. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If opting for cranberry juice, look for 100% pure, unsweetened juice to keep the tart cranberry flavor front and center. However, if you can’t find unsweetened juice, add 1/4 oz of fresh lime juice to cut the sweetness if necessary.
  • If you like a sweeter cocktail, add a splash of simple syrup. I recommend starting with 1/4 oz and building from there.
