  2. As an Italian I eat and serve a lot of cheese and charcuterie boards and these strawberries were the perfect accoutrement. I particularly enjoyed it paired with hard, salty cheese.

    1. As a fellow Italian, I eat and serve meat and cheese platters all the time myself! 😁 And I totally agree, the sweet and savory quality of these strawberries is the perfect balance for saltiness. Thanks so much for sharing your kind feedback!

  3. Of course I had to go buy balsamic vinegar to give this a go. Seemed like a good way to warm the chilly kitchen after a few very unseasonably warm past few days spoiled me earlier this week. Pulled these from the oven a few minutes early as I was just a bit too hungry to wait and next time will purchase some mint leaves, but loved the tasty Roasted Balsamic Strawberries on a pancake. Only had enough mix for one, so popped a piece of rye bread (please don’t laugh) into the toaster as a quick solution since was still hungry for more!

    1. I love that you tried these strawberries on pancakes, yummmm! And I would never laugh — one pancake is better than none. 😁 I like these balsamic strawberries on toast as well, especially with a little cottage cheese. Not sure if that’s weird to other people, but my mom used to make me toast with cottage cheese and jam, so this is like an elevated version of it! So glad you tried this recipe and enjoyed it, thanks for letting me know. And definitely give them a try with mint sometime — that little pop of freshness is so yummy!😋

    1. Thank you so much for your feedback. I’ve made these balsamic strawberries many times, and have never had an issue with them burning. However, cooking times can definitely vary due to a variety of factors, so I’ve added a note in the recipe card to reflect that. Although I’m very sorry your strawberries didn’t turn out well, I’m glad you let me know so that others can learn from your experience!
