  2. I had a recent JetBlue flight only to find out they had confiscated my curling iron, an ordinary, electric curling iron packed in my suitcase. They did not leave me a note to say they had taken it. Nothing they just took it why?

    1. That’s so frustrating! Unfortunately, sometimes these things happen even when you pack your items appropriately and follow TSA rules. Ultimately, it is up to the individual screening agent to decide whether or not to confiscate an item even if the rules state they are allowed. I’m just sorry this happened to you!
